How to fit Alice/DEI Hybrid straps to DEI1606 Frame

Follow the step by step guide on how to fit your straps to your DEI Frame:


1st step – remove lower G hook with Alice Frame Adapter Kit, top and bottom shoulder pad attachment point webbing

Attach top and bottom shoulder pad attachment points to the frame.

Choose horiztonal attachment point on the back of the shoulder pads to feed into the frame. The lowest is for the longer back length/taller person (middle has been choose for this picture)

Create a loop using the metal triglide for the GHook to fit into.

Tighten and adjust horizontal and lower attachment points on the frame

Remove Ladder locs and Triglides from hipbelt

Feed the webbing through the frame and then re-attach triglides and ladder locs as shown in the image below

Feed the webbing through the triglides and tighten, ensuring that the hipbelt in central to the frame.

Feed the vertical triglides through the frame and secure in place

Finally feed the pack frame into the sleeve on the Alice pack and then feed the top shoulder pad adjustment webbing through the triglides and adjust to suit.
