MiniMAP - Modular Assault Pack

Based on the venerable MAP (modular assault pack). This has been shortened to give it a lower profile when being worn on a plate carrier. The large main compartment features a sleeve to secure a 2-litre bladder (3-litre bladders will fit if they are not completely filled) and the external pouch can carry a 24-hour ORP (operational ration pack).

Two columns by three rows of PALS webbing on each side allow the user to fit more pouches to the sides. Three exit ports (one on the top and one on each side) allow the user to place their hydration hose to suit and compression straps allow the load to be cinched down and stop any “pouch bounce”. The webbing tabs on the base that cover the drain holes can be utilized to strap external loads to the bottom.

Now features D-Rings on the top and base corners to allow for removable shoulder pads to be attached, enabling the pack to be carried as an independent unit. Link to shoulder pads can be found here:

Pack is a very well thought out piece of kit

Pack is a very well thought out piece of kit. I use mine with a modular war belt and six point harness I have found if i have a full bladder in my pack an minimal weight on my belt the pack wants to fall down an pull the front of the belt up. Other than that the system is fantastic.

The MiniMAPis a great pouch for your Platecarrier. Not so bulky like the „First Generation“ of MAPs but with sufficient space for Water, NODS, spare magazin and a Poncho.
