The TacKea pushes our lightweight carry line forward, combining the proven DNA of the Kea with feedback from soldiers, medics, and everyday users. Designed and built in Christchurch, New Zealand, it's engineered to be the one pack you can configure for anything.

Three years ago, we created the Tuke and Kea platforms clean, efficient packs shaped for real-world performance. After the success of the Big Molly, we asked a simple question:

How do we turn the Kea into the ultimate modular day pack?

The TacKea is the answer.

Full Clamshell Access & Intelligent Organisation

The TacKea keeps the Kea's proven silhouette and lightweight internal aluminium frame but introduces a completely re-engineered opening system. The new full clamshell front gives unrestricted access to the entire 30L main compartment—perfect for medical layouts, rapid gear swaps, and structured load-outs.

Inside, every detail is designed for customisation:

• Full loop-lined rear wall for TwinNeedle Med Cells, Grid Panels and EDC organisers
• Dual hydration sleeves
• Two zipped internal mesh pockets
• Flat mesh pockets on the front wall
• Lid pocket plus velour-lined eyewear pocket
• External zipped loop pocket
• Dual side pockets

Modular Exterior & Cross-Platform Compatibility

Laser-cut Squadron® PALS slots run across the front and sides, ready for any TwinNeedle PALS compatible pouch. A bartacked webbing strip on the base shared with the Big Molly supports the included Overload Panel, allowing you to securely carry awkward, oversized or mission-specific equipment.

Also included is the TacKea Hip Belt, providing improved load transfer, stability and comfort when carrying heavier loads, while remaining low-profile and fully removable when not required.
