Big Molly V2

Born out of years of feedback from hunters thrashing gear in New Zealand’s steep, wet, and unforgiving backcountry, the Big Molly V2 is TwinNeedle’s most versatile large-volume hunting pack. While it’s at home carrying gear for a range of missions, its DNA is unapologetically hunter-led. Every line, seam, and feature is built with the understanding that Kiwi terrain, weather, and bushbashing are second to none in their ability to destroy gear.

At 55–60L, the Big Molly V2 hits the sweet spot for multi-day hunts, extended day missions that demand extra layers and optics, or load hauling when success means more weight coming out than going in. The ergonomic suspension with internal aluminium frame and height-adjustable shoulder harness keeps heavy loads stable, while the removable hip belt and lid combine to form an integrated hunter’s belt when stripped down for lighter missions.

Field-Focused Design

• Hunter-led function - Every detail comes from time in the hills. Side zip access to the pack body, a large internal mesh pocket, and hydration-compatible lid ensure quick access to the essentials.

• Adaptable load system - Add optional scabbards (side or rear mounted) or the reversible bow bucket to carry your primary weapon hands-free. Molle webbing across the front, sides, and belt allows for endless modular expansion.

• Rugged, not fragile - Built from American-made 500D Cordura®, mil-spec webbing, heavy-duty YKK zips, and ITW hardware, the Big Molly V2 is engineered to take punishment. It’s tough enough for the South Island’s notorious scrub, and we know our Australian mates will thrash it just as hard across their own country.

Unlike many ultralight packs that sacrifice durability to shave grams, the Big Molly V2 balances lightweight construction with the bombproof toughness demanded by Southern Hemisphere hunters. Designed, tested, and hand-built in Christchurch, New Zealand, it represents the best of both worlds: proven American fabrics, crafted into a pack that thrives on our world-class struggle street conditions.
